Open MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Using sensors that detect small changes in magnetic fields when they are passed through human tissue, an MRI machine provides our doctors with a detailed cross-sectional image of the examined area. Our MRI machine is an "open" model that allows for images to be taken of the injury site while still allowing three sides of open space. This alleviates the claustrophobia some patients have with closed-model MRI types.
Bone Density Screening Regular X-rays do not accurately reflect the density of your bones. Our Bone Mineral Density machine allows you and your doctor to get an idea of the strength and stability of your bones, allowing you to prevent osteoporosis and fractures before they happen.
X-ray, Casting & Splinting Although the technology behind X-rays is not as modern as MRI's and nuclear imaging, it still plays a vital role in orthopaedic care. We have two X-ray machines on-site to help aid in the diagnosis and treatment of your broken bone.
