Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure that allows surgeons to visualize, diagnose and treat joint problems through small incisions in the skin. The physicians at OSMC are trained to perform arthroscopy on the following joints: ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and wrist.

The benefits of an arthroscopy include smaller incisions, quicker healing, less pain and smaller scars. The majority of patients that undergo arthroscopy can go home the same day. However, not all conditions can be treated arthroscopically. Your OSMC physician will evaluate your condition and recommend the best method of treatment.
